Achieving Qualitative Progress in the Process-Based Comprehensive Digital Transformation Project
If the first founding of the Libyan International University launched in 2007, now, after nearly two decades, the second founding begins after its infrastructure has been consolidated over long years. By the second founding, we mean the “Smart Digital Founding” through an impressive, integrated system that has already commenced actual operation.
In line with this approach, and in a step confirming the Libyan International University’s commitment to adopting the highest standards of institutional excellence and continuous development, an expanded meeting for the Business Process Management (BPM) project was held last Wednesday, September 2, 2026, in the Promising Libya Hall, sponsored and attended by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saad Ambarek.
The meeting witnessed broad leadership attendance, including the Deans of Faculties and Directors of Academic Programs, alongside the General Registrar Administration, the General Affairs Administration, and the Financial Affairs Administration, reflecting the comprehensiveness and wide institutional adoption that the project enjoys.
During the session, the Automation and Development Unit team presented a package of “Student Processes” that were successfully automated after undergoing a full cycle of analysis, optimization, and professional redesign through the Process Engineering Unit, in accordance with the latest global Business Process Management methodologies.
The university’s comprehensive digital transformation project is experiencing rapid development on both structural and operational levels. The scope of participation and integration across various sectors is expanding, in parallel with intensifying efforts by the “Governance, Adoption, and Compliance Unit” to support process stakeholders and ensure successful change management.
For its part, the project team reaffirmed its full commitment to providing ongoing technical support and necessary training materials for all process parties, ensuring optimal operation and achieving the project’s milestone targets.
