An Extensive Meeting to Follow Up on the Technical and Procedural Improvement Package for the University’s Financial Operations

The university’s business processes are moving forward with steady and rapid strides—not only to develop institutional performance and achieve the highest standards of efficiency in administrative operations, but also to bring about a radical change in the “legacy of administrative accumulation.” This legacy has historically resulted in inflation, slackness, and the obstruction of progress. Instead, the university is establishing a “Process Culture” that mandates masterful performance based on quality, automation, standards, and interconnected cycles.

Following this approach, the University Process Management (UPM) team held an important meeting last Thursday, May 7, 2026, to follow up on a package of technical and procedural improvements for the university’s financial operations.

The meeting saw broad attendance, including:

  • Mr. Fathi Kred, Director of the General Administration of Public Affairs.
  • Mr. Faisal Al-Naas, Director of the Internal Audit Department.
  • Assist. Prof. Bilal Abdulraziq Aljabour, University Process Management (UPM) Project Manager
  • Mr. Fayez Al-Beijo, Director of Faculty Affairs.
  • Representatives from the Financial Affairs Department, colleges, and academic programs.

Key Highlights of the Meeting:

  • Digital Transformation: The discussion focused on reviewing digital transformation mechanisms within the new, enhanced version of the financial burdens system.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring alignment with internal control and regulatory standards.
  • Full Automation: Eng. Marwan Al-Karghali and Eng. Imtinan Al-Tabouli from the UPM team presented the update, which relies on “full automation” aimed at “zeroing out procedural risks.”

The attendees emphasized that the integration of efforts is the primary guarantee for the success of this transition. Moving toward a digital work environment adopts the latest governance systems and supports rapid decision-making based on reliable data and governed processes.

The university continues its confident steps toward pioneering digital transformation and developing its systems to serve its staff and students, fulfilling its future aspirations.
